Time has come for the long road trips again. Yeah, gas prices are high but then so is the air fare :) . Over the past few years I have visited Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Virginia, Maryland and a couple of other states.. notice the lack of any westward (read California) travails.

Its not that I hate California, its just that its tooooooooooooooooooooooo far from the east coast and sometimes it doesn’t make sense to go all across the continent just for a couple of days.

There are other things though, you always choose to buy a home (e.g. Orlando Real Estate Agent ) in one of these places. So stay there… like a vacation home or something. If you don’t like the continental US, you can always save up the money and invest in a trip to the soccer world cup in Germany in June or the cricket world cup in West Indies next year! Will be worth every penny you spend.

Anyhow. Plan this year is to minimize the car fuel bill and spend the dough on cheap tickets to a few good destinations in the US. Any ideas / suggestions on what will be a good bargain this year? Seattle? Any national parks?
