Wow thats looks like a particularly scrumptious cake! What exactly is it? Clay? Plasticene? Oil?
Piper I note you have talented (and imaginative) friends!
ralli, true.. unique friends, like everyone else! neelam, mind telling ralli what this thing really is?! may be I can just add to this post here.. what say?
nids, true.. busy.. kinda very but then not really that much.. how are you?
Ralli,
This is acrylic on canvas. Acrylics, look like oil, but behave like water colour when used. It is a painting. (therefore not a cake)There is no clay on this one.
The painting is about connectivity and commonality that we share in this labyrinth like world. Stark colours represent the basic common ground that we share as well as reflect on the simplicity of making connections and seeing things at face value.
Hope this is explanation is self explanatory :)) Piper? Ralli?

Yeh to kamal ki painting hai I didn’t understand your explanation, but thought that the painting was very creative … do you have a collection of these? Are they up for sale?!! If not, then you should consider doing it! dd)
Vineet,
Yes the painting is a part of a collection (of 6 paintings) about life, connectivity, changes, Higher powers (God), thoughts etc. This is the first that I have done in black and white though. Another one coming next weekend!
They are not for sale. I dont sell my work but am happy to make things on commission. This was part of the commissioned work as well.
Thanks for the compliments on the work.
Things you know. Things you will find out anyways.
I live in Redsox Nation. I like watching football, playing the Indian flute, singing, and writing the occasional blog post. Policy is a big current interest for me, and I am your resident Mac addict/ computer troubleshooter.

That is WAY COOL. It’s deep and meaningful without trying to be. It just is what it is. Kudos to the artist.
