Havent been blogging for a while now.. buried in work / moving / etc etc. Things should stabilize over the next few weeks though… once I get my dosa batter making machine, I’ll be very happy!
Anyow.
Over the last few days I have noticed a few things…
1. If a country is democratic and their leaders are democratically elected, why are the people unhappy with their leaders? :-:: And why do such leaders always create laws and make decisions that cause more pain than before?
2. Its a good thing to find out that you are not good at something. I found one a couple of weeks ago and mahn was it depressing. I am working towards it…
So should be decent at it hopefully soon.
3. Its good to have a high maintenance girlfriend. They may be difficult to afford but atleast they are easy to please. To find out if your’s is one, read this.
4. Sometimes its a good idea to not say anything and let things be.
5. You never have friends, you have people who know various parts of your life. Those that know the good parts become ‘friends’ and those who know the bad parts, become your enemies.
And now I need to sleep.

Dear Amit,
You are write. I know you not and not you know me. I am also not knowing Jyoti Mishra, but I am knowing Jyoti Basu who was honourable chief minister of west bengal.
I am also not knowing IIT Kanpure. Is it somewhere close to IIT Barrackpure? But I am completely agreeing that it must be reputed institute since all Indians are talking very truthfully.
Please do feel free to write and send your resume. I will be very glad to help out.
P.S. how did you find my blog site?
you guys are hilarious.
but seriously who is this amit shukla???
Amit Shukla is some stupid IITian trying to network thru Orkut. I need to sue Orkut to give my email address to dumb guys like these!
Finally piper, people who know bad parts and tell you about your bad parts as well as appreciate the good parts are ‘friends’. Otherwise there is another word ‘acquaintance’. Please to update your vocab:)
Hey Pushkar …
Hmmm looks like u are in one those moods huh!!!
I disagree about you saying you never have friends … I think a friend who is someone who likes you inspite of your bad parts!!! I think atleast the friends I have are like that!!! And I am sure you have friends like that too
i fully agree about the part that says sometimes its a good idea to let things be and not say a word :-d… check my blog, had been feeling the same way myself …
About high maintenance girls, I think its a good idea for every girl to be high maintenance or your partner takes u too much for granted :d
I think what Raju wrote below is hilarious !!!
Sounds like one of those cow essays from the IAS exams (check it out if you donno what i am talking about http://www.indolink.com/Humor/cow.html)dd)
I agree with the comments. Acquaintances know your good parts and so they think they know you and so keep in touch. Friends are those who know the ‘bad’ parts and still want to know you. I would like to add here, once you have a true friend, it is difficult to get rid of them, even with comments like those you posted :p
This IIT guy, hmm…myth about all IITians being dude type being torn down from memories of similar IIT delhi folks who i had the misfortune to meet at their festival. You lot seem to bump into quite a few weird people thanks to being from IIT I guess.
It is best to keep quiet a lot of times. As grandma used to say, He gave you a tongue so you could speak, but He also gave you 32 guards in your mouth to keep the tongue from running away! And in your case a bit of a brain to think as well…so think. It is easy to say words but impossible to eat them back sometimes.
Nice to see you back in the www world Mr.PP.
Hey Vandana,
Please dont discredit me for some stupid amit shukla. He did send me an email! And I seriously HATE orkut for that.
Of course, I also maintain ‘not so dumb’ cow essays on my blogs, but please.
Sorry Raju… actually I really meant to say that what the person “Pushkar Inner Voice” wrote was hilarious, somehow mistook it for Raju I guess!!!
I really think it was a funny retort
Dear Vandana,
Highly I am appreciating your valuable feedback. I am also noting for future reference to put on my resume. Also I am happy you are not mistaking me for Raju any more.
Raju not I am
Nor pam nor sam nor ram
India from I write
And may be out of sight
And hooked to a tam I am
Now thats a give away, isn’t it.
tank you mr P.I.V (that is it is an ulta VIP. lol me so funny). Very very coincidences you know jyoti basu!! I know her too. When she become chief minister? Very strange you know about barrackpure. I hale from that very particular regional area. Infortunately no IIT exits there. I am sending you my resume sometime back. Please please to review and feed my back.
inspired by your essay on cow i write poem too.
The cow.
The cow is of the bovine ilk;
One end is moo, the other, milk.

OK. Now I am confused…Kya chal raha hai boss? With Inner Voices, cows, Kanpur and Shukla, I dont quite know what to make of it!! As if doing a PhD was not confusing enough!:((
oye public… enough….
Jest is ok. But dont stretch it.
Piper don’t lose it yet. Surely there’s more to come.
Neelam, please do not be confused. Just enjoy.
Dear Amit, I don’t quite get it
I thought one side was moo, the other, shit.
In the field of holiness, the cow does overlap,
One side being moo, the other, crap.
In the kingdom of holiness, the cow is without peer
One side is moo, the other palak paneer.
“Javanon chapati khao”
- Joshiji.
Many thanks, Pushkar’s Inner Voice, I shall not be confused any more. I shall believe what you say…or so I say….
Piper,
You have asked for it. Am sorry but the last I checked it was kind of a democracy that you guys live in…right? :)) he he he..
PIV, hilarious.
Dear Mr 1/VIP.
I believes you didn’t get the poem about the cow. It is ok, most people don’t understanding it at first, read again. Here is a simplerer poem to make you understand.
The Caterpillar
the caterpillar is of divine ilk,
one end is goo, the other silk.
Now move away from the cow’s… *ahem*! You will be udderstanding.
Here is another pome about the plight of IIT bombay.
It is really a big pity,
you find crap in bombay city,
That way IIT kanpur rocks,
You can find mostly only peacocks.
Great people hail from there,
Sumit agarwal, the dramatic chair,
Sadly he went Bombay bound,
not one recognised his talent around.
You come from Bombay, but i still cheer
you stay happy, with your palak paneer.
Best wishes,
amit shukla

anyways..here after long time…liked ur observations..especilly the one..” You never have friends, you have people who know various parts of your life. Those that know the good parts become ‘friends’ and those who know the bad parts, become your enemies. ”
How true!!! made me change my prospective about friends..completely!
and weekend is arnd..:-)
OK. folks.. bahut ho gaya… enough stuff has been thrown around… things are on the walls now and as we did in 3rd year we will have to wash it off the walls (remember the big ‘mud’ fight?)
