As the title reads, I am off (on vacation) for the next couple of weeks (and dont read too much into the word couple). :)) The updates on the main blog will be less frequent but you can check out the links section (tab out to Etc on the side bar) for interesting tidbits.
In other news, my buy-me-a-plane fund is still on. As of yesterday there were 3 substantial contributions (cooking upma for me for life, and the other 2 were more intim.. err.. personal in nature) ;).  Introducing Flickr, the all new slicksocialnetworking service. I know crazy new things keep coming out but try Flickr, and you will see what you are missing. Its friendster + messenger + chatboard + email + yahoogroups combined. But what I like about it is that it is totally web based! No downloads and no installation. Just create a profile and you are ready to go! Of course it is in beta phase but its still quite quite good! My id is piper5ul @ yahoo dot com so look me up and add me! I have already created an IIT group.. want to create a CMU group too. |
